Real Estate Attorney Jon W. Morphew to Present CLE Presentation to the Hennepin County Bar Association

On March 29, 2017, real estate attorney Jon W. Morphew is going to present a continuing legal education presentation to the eminent domain section of the Hennepin County Bar Association.  

The title of Mr. Morphew's presentation is: "Relocation Issues Involving Carve Outs and Mixed-Use Properties."

Mr. Morphew's presentation will focus on one of the most difficult issues a practitioner in the area of residential relocation claims can face: how to determine the amount of the housing replacement payment for which a displaced person is entitled to receive in cases involving mixed-use properties.  Mr. Morphew's presentation will include knowing how to perform carve outs,  how to properly determine the amount the displaced person is being paid for just the residential portion of their property, and how this can significantly impact the amount of the housing replacement payment for which they are eligible to receive.
